01Offline Local Operation & Zero Personal Data Storage

Direct Router Communication (100% Offline & Local)

The app communicates directly with your physical router gateway over your private local area network (LAN)[cite: 2]:

• No Server Storage: We do not operate a user database, account system, or cloud storage. We do not store or track your MAC address, the MAC addresses of connected devices, custom device names, router administrative usernames, or router passwords[cite: 2].
• Temporary Local Display Only: When the app queries your router (for connected devices, optical power, or Wi-Fi status), that information is rendered on your phone's screen and held temporarily in volatile memory (RAM)[cite: 2]. It is never transmitted to us or any third party[cite: 2].
• Local Password Security: The router login details you enter remain strictly on your physical phone, encrypted locally using Android's Keystore-backed storage (AES-256 GCM)[cite: 2, 8]. They never leave your device[cite: 2].

02Third-Party Services (Ads & Crash Reports)

While the app operates offline for router management, it integrates standard Google SDKs for advertisements and application stability[cite: 1, 2]:

• Google AdMob: The free version displays advertisements[cite: 1, 2]. AdMob uses the Google Advertising ID (AD_ID) and generalized device telemetry to serve ads, prevent click fraud, and honor consent settings configured via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP)[cite: 2].
• Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics: In the event of an app failure, automated technical logs (such as the crash stack trace, phone model, and Android OS version) are transmitted to help us troubleshoot and eliminate bugs[cite: 2]. This diagnostic telemetry contains no personal identifiers, MAC addresses, or router configurations.

03Android Device Permissions

• Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Mandated by the Android OS specifically to allow the app to query Wi-Fi scan results and detect your local Wi-Fi SSID. The app does not track, log, or transmit your physical GPS location[cite: 1, 2].
• Nearby Wi-Fi Devices (NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES): Required on Android 13+ to interface with local Wi-Fi networking equipment without accessing location info.

04Data Sharing & Sale

We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer your personal data, local network topology, or hardware identifiers to anyone[cite: 2]. 05Data Retention & App Removal

Because no MAC addresses, names, or accounts are stored externally, there is no remote data footprint[cite: 2]. You can instantly wipe any locally cached router passwords and preferences by uninstalling the application or using Android Settings > Apps > Fiber Router Manager > Clear Storage[cite: 1].

06Age Requirement & Children's Privacy

Fiber Router Manager is a technical utility designed for managing home networking hardware[cite: 1, 2]. In accordance with our Google Play Console target audience declaration, the App is intended for users aged 16 and older (16+)[cite: 2].

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect, request, or store any personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where local data privacy laws designate minors accordingly). If you believe that a minor has submitted personal information through the App, please contact us immediately, and we will ensure it is deleted.
